The benefits of membership are many. National membership (a prerequisite for chapter membership) offers many opportunities for educational and professional growth. Subscriptions to American Journal of Critical Care, Critical Care Nurse, and AACN News, are provided with membership. There are 12 CEUs available online for members free of charge- available for our members at the online continuing education link. Membership also presents the opportunity to get discounts on educational programs, seminars, and conferences.

Chapter membership offers the opportunity to plan the direction of the chapter, to meet other critical care nurses from this area for valuable networking, and to earn scholarship monies for certification, chapter events, and NTI, etc. A quarterly newsletter, The Monitor is available via e-mail to members and also posted online. The chapter has multiple community service volunteer opportunities you can use to help you achieve clinical ladder or tenure.
