Scholarships

Dear Member,

Welcome to the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of AACN!

One of the benefits of your membership is receiving money to support scholarly nursing activities such as workshop fees, professional books and journals and certification exam and re-certification exams. This benefit is part of the awards program to reward chapter members for their active chapter involvement, commitment and hours of dedication. To use the scholarship fund:

1. Record your scholarship points on the Scholarship Point Tally Sheet (.pdf - 18 KB)
2. Once enough points are accumulated, current members may receive reimbursement for professional workshops, books, journals or certification exam or re-certification sponsored by AACN.
3. Members may receive up to $200.00 per year (July-July)
4. Points accumulated are valid for 2 years
5. To request money complete the Scholarship Fund Application (.doc - 34 KB) and submit it with the Scholarship Point Tally Sheet (.pdf - 18 KB) and proof of purchase or completion of the educational offering, as appropriate.

7. Earn money per points:
• $1.00 per point 1-30 points
• $2.00 per point 31-60 points
• $3.00 per point for over 60 points

For Example:
30 points-$30.00
50 points-$70.00
60 points-$90.00
75 points-$135.00
97 points-$200.00

8. The Board of Directors may limit funds based on the budget restraints for the fiscal year and the number of applicants received.
